Ride for the Red 2009 Television Raffle Rules

 

1. Each ticket will be free with the purchase of a Ride for the Red 2009 Ticket ($20.00).  The purchaser of the ticket is not required to participate in the Ride for the Red, and may assign the Ride for the Red ticket to another individual.

2. A person or entity may purchase a maximum of 10 tickets. No more than 2,000  tickets will be sold. The directors, officers and employees of The Franklin County Chapter of the American Red Cross (FCARC), or any other branch or chapter of the American Red Cross and their immediate families are not eligible to win.

3. Individual purchasers of tickets must be 18 years of age or older.

4. Each numbered Raffle ticket stub will be placed in the Raffle ticket container.

5. FCARC shall appoint a single individual who will be responsible for maintaining control and security of all of the Raffle ticket stubs. Such individual shall, by public certification under oath at the time of the drawing, certify that all Raffle tickets purchased have their stub in the container of stubs where the winning Raffle ticket will be drawn.

6. The public drawing will be on July 25, 2009. Drawing Location: M&S Harley-Davidson, 160 Falling Springs Road, Chambersburg, PA 17201  Drawing Times: 2:45 p.m. You may attend the drawing. Please plan to arrive at approximately 2:15 p.m.

7. You need not be present to win.

8. Winners will be notified by phone and certified mail return receipt requested by August 15, 2009.

9. The Raffle Winner must claim prize within two (2) weeks of the notification date or a new winner will be selected.

10. The Raffle winner is responsible for any applicable taxes and costs of installation.

11. The Raffle winner shall take the property in 'as is' condition.

12. This is not a tax deductible contribution.

13. The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

14. If for any reason the raffle is canceled, FCARC must reimburse each Raffle ticket purchaser within sixty (60) days of the Raffle cancellation date but may retain up to 1% of the ticket price for administrative costs.

15. Proceeds of the Raffle are for the benefit of the Franklin County Chapter of the American Red Cross, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations registered with the Secretary of State of Pennsylvania.
